Insect Lore Funtastic 4 Cups of Caterpillars

I had purchased this kit as an at home project for me and my son. Ended up being a me thing. lol I ended up receiving 38 instead of 32 👀 but that’s okay I made it work.Reading the negative reviews on here you can really tell who took the time read the instructions and who didn’t.When you get the baby caterpillars you’re instructed to take the food provided and evenly distribute and make sure to use another cup the level it down. If you don’t do this as they grow the space gets limited and trying

These arrived alive. I was worried but it came on time. Quality is good, the kids had fun. Used in the classroom and at home. Price was valuable wil buy again.

I’ve been a customer of Insect Lore for several years as my kids and I love raising butterflies every spring. But this year, like many other customers, one of our cups only had 4 instead of 5 caterpillars.

Everyone should do this ! I got them for my nephew and we had so much fun and he learned a lot and I’m definitely going to buy more and grow some butterflies again. Such a great gift for literally any age. Just so beautiful and not one showed up dead during shipping.

Only 3 out of the 20 butterfly larva completed their life cycle from this order, which means the rest of them did not even successfully form a chrysalis and died in a very visually disturbing way for our students to see. I am beyond disappointed considering I spent $40 and to no good end for these living creatures or toward my second graders learning. There is also nothing to be done about it except to tell you what a bad experience this was. I would love a refund but there is nothing for me

Received Monday in mail. By Tuesday morning when I was going to take them to school they were already hanging from the top. The students did not get to see small larva grow or to talk about them eating and moving to the top to hang, etc. Big lost opportunity for teaching here. Won’t buy from this group again!!! (not to mention only four the five of both containers survived).
